Warmer weather maybe, but not extremes for body as a whole. My arthritic shoulder is happy at the moment, although having said that, a definite drop in temperature today…

Iam glad to here that very frightening to see the fires so close to homes,my friend in Australia is concerned about leaving her home just in case. Cooler and windy here in Scotland our summer could be over 😆 x

My neighbour insists on lighting his barbecue on the other side of the Laurel tree that divides us. The tree is as dry as a crisp, there are nesting finches in it. We only have small yards. The fumes from his fire hazard blow straight into my stable door style back door.. I often think my house is on fire. There appears to be nothing I can do, unless I am actually on fire. A polite word has no effect last year. The fire service will only come out if life is at risk. Thank you for letting me rant. 👨‍🚒👩🏽‍🚒🧑🏻‍🚒👨‍🚒

The fire service were quick enough to come and check on my bonfire in the garden, in an incinerator, on a hard standing, supervised. Someone passing in a car rang in to say they had seen smoke. I asked what I could do to save them coming out another time and they said if someone reported smoke, they were bound to come out.

Just hope your tree doesn;t go up - because life WILL be in danger then. Lot to be said for the French rules - no BBQs of ANY sort, even gas, when it is this dry. People can be so daft ...
