Good morning a quick question to those of you wroth much more info on this than me. As I posted recently seeing consultant next week re DEXA results which have deteriorated etc and I asked about Biphosphates. Bloods have just come back and my PTH is 9.3 measurement here is 18-88 for normal. Also ESR raised to 14 when its always between 5 and 8 even before diagnosis and steroids. Is there anything I should be asking next week about these figures please.

That PTH being low may need investigating - did they do calcium and magnesium levels at the same time? But it is unlikely to be the reason for the deterioration in your dexascan results. Impressed they looked though!

That ESR is maybe raised for you - but it is still very "within normal range" and most likely a cold or something? It is very non-specific, it would only be a concern if it continued to rise.

Calcium yes 9.9g/dl so in middle of range, Phosphorus 3.4mg/dl so also in middle of range but not magnesium. Liver function normal. Vit D 54.19 so again in range. We will have to see what she says. Thank you.
