I have to say at first I used to check in and offer comments, but somehow it never quite grew on me. I don't know on what basis they decided these were the best treatments - other than how many people said they'd tried something. Can't remember if they really collect accurate info regarding efficacy of a specific medication or treatment. Think it's probably mostly if not completely done by computer.
I got the impression it matched a story OH used to tell from uni. The lecturer got someone up from the group to do a mathematical proof on the board. At the end he asked for votes as to whether it was correct or not. The group voted it was correct - it wasn't. And the lecturer then said "Gentlemen - it goes to show democracy doesn't work in maths ..."
Just because people post votes that something worked, doesn't mean it really did ...
I seem to remember when you sign up they ask you what treatments you tried, and that could include a lot of stuff which doesn't work but neverthless it gets recorded.
Like the others I looked at it, decided it wasn't for me and binned it. Some very strange suggestions which seemed to have very little to back them up.
I tried anything natural when I was diagnosed with PMR. Turmic is wonderful for me I still take it. I have weekly massages and did yoga or pilates. I bought an electric blan ket that really helped me at night to sleep. Mainly kept moving.
