Anyone caught covid19 while on prednisolone?

I got it on 1 Oct. I am on 1 mg pred.

So lower pred makes no difference. Perhaps restrictions stoping haven’t helped. Hope you managed at home

For two days I felt awful then up and down. Loved not going in to work for 12 days.

I had it in March last year while on 1mg and below. I think I may have got it again in Oct 2020 when I was on zero Pred by then.

I thought when on lower pred the immune system was coming back

It will be better than on higher doses but then you’re down to the uncertainty about everyone’s immune system as to what it can cope with. Whether you are badly ill with Covid comes down to many factors otherwise healthy people wouldn’t end up in critical care.

I caught it last December when on 4.5mg

I had it last December and was on 15 or 20 Prednisone then.

I caught COVID at the end of July and I was on 2.5mg of Pred, but I am also on Tocilizumab

Did it make you very ill?

I had it in February this year. It wasn’t much different to a cold really and I recovered well after about 2 - 3 weeks with no after effects. I was taking 6 1/2 mgs of prednisolone at the time.
