?? Leaky Leg & Lump ?

A few days ago my hand slipped while putting on compression hose and my thumbnail scraped above my left knee. It bled, then stopped, so I put a bandaid Last night I noticed the bandage I had covered it with was wet and hanging off. I could see the wetness. So, I covered it again and went to bed. This morning I noticed the sheet was wet and I had a lump a few inches to the left of what looked like a split in the skin. My rheumy is away, but the nurse texted him and I was referred to the infectious disease specialist. She put my on Doxycycline 100mg, 2 x a day for 5 and put a small patch of Aquacel on with a bandaid. It doesn't seem as warm tonight as it was this morning. I don't think it is weeping as much and hope we warded of any infection.

I'll try to keep the sheets dry tonight!🍼

I'm still looking forward to a few days down the road to see where this is headed.💖
