I was wearing Tubi-Grip for compression and I wore it from the ankle up. When I did that my arch puffed up like pastry. This double wrap over the arch and just past the ankle seems to contain the swelling better....as long as I elevate each hour. My infectious disease specialist suggested this...so I'm sharing, not prescribing.
I buy the Tubi-Grip by the roll 'from you know who'...I'm pretty sure PT is going to have other recommendations, but if your swelling isn't severe and there is no lymph involvement, this may be worth a try. π
