Try not to get caught up in the beauty of my leg.........
I was wearing Tubi-Grip for compression and I wore it from the ankle up. When I did that my arch puffed up like pastry. This double wrap over the arch and just past the ankle seems to contain the swelling better....as long as I elevate each hour. My infectious disease specialist suggested this...so I'm sharing, not prescribing.
I buy the Tubi-Grip by the roll 'from you know who'...I'm pretty sure PT is going to have other recommendations, but if your swelling isn't severe and there is no lymph involvement, this may be worth a try. 💖

Joining the clan, this is my leg with a yellow line Tubifast!! It was actually covering up one of the lesions I got from the steroids. Impossible to get a shoe on though.
Wow...I'd not seen anything like that before...I Googled it, of course. It looks like it is doing a serious job!! About a year ago I had an open sore that wouldn't heal and the wound clinic would treat it and then wrap my leg in a dampened material that would have to be cut off next visit. Do you pull this on yourself? My little tubi-grip looks like a silk stocking compared to this.
I know PT is going to put me in a 'real' compression hose. I'm just hoping one the zipper models will work.💖
I am afraid the district nurse did it. If I had done it, it definitely would not have looked so good! I reckon the Tubifast is pretty similar to your tubi grip. The real problem was getting shoes on as their were dressings underneath.
My legs have been my worst problem as I reduce down on my pmr journey 2 mg. Now have found an amazing product that really helps me.It’s a balm -elder and horse chestnut with terebinth & arnica intense herbal infusion.
I bought it at the green store new road Croxley green where I could take a sample Pea size and immediately an improvement so the following day purchased a pot.£32 but worth it to me!
