Another update

So following on from shingles I have post hermetic neuralgia. I posted the other day that I had been offered a Stella the ganglion block (nerve block). I had this on Tuesday this week and was a straight forward procedure and I hardly felt anything. The next day I felt a bit weird and my neck was quite sore. I’ve had up and down days since and my eye has still been quite sore so I spoke to the eye clinic and they are seeing me on Monday. I decided to go ahead and have my second Covid jab yesterday and so far no reaction🤞. I’m still not go8ng out much and the curtains are drawn all day and I still wear my sunglasses most of the day. I’m reducing my drugs down and not feeling so dizzy. I’ve even managed to do some baking.

Glad things are improving albeit slowly, you’ve certainly had a rough time of it. Hope your biscuits were as delicious as they look!

Oh Griggser, you really have had so much more to cope with. It sounds like the medics are on your case and trying to help which is good. Maybe by the time all this awful wind and rain has gone and the promised good weather has arrived , you will be feeling quite a bit better. I do hope so.

Your biscuits/ cookies look absolutely perfect and I rather think the photo of them has been having everyone drooling! It’s brilliant that you felt able to make them. Fingers crossed that you are beginning to feel some improvement.
