Just a quick note; I had my 2nd pfizer shot yesterday. All is going fine. My arm doesn't hurt nor do I have a headache as I did with the first shot. Actually, I have an unusual amount of energy today. Sure is hard not to overdue activity. I generally don't have a lot of energy, so this is really nice.
Take Care
Good luck taking the vaccine

The same thing happened to me. One or two days feeling as fit as a fiddle, but on the fourth day it hit me, fatigue, fatigue, fatigue. So? Don't push it!! Just enjoy the energy while you have it - but beware!!🍀🍀
Thank you for all the responses, I am going to try and take it easy. Good to know about 4 days from now. Hope it won't happen. My husband only had a little fatigue for 2 days and then was fine.
If you read my previous posts you will see that it seems the covid vaccine was probably the last straw in a build up to developing PMR. In other words, I would most likely have contracted PMR anyway (warning symptoms there for a while which I had not recognised, my mother had PMR, unusual amounts of stress etc) and this may have been the final insult to the system that pushed me over the edge. My GP says it was a coincidence - a mighty big one say I. I definitely do not think this is a reason for non vaccination!Good luck with your second one.
That is reassuring to hear; I am glad you are doing well. I will be having my shot on Monday and am a bit nervous about it. They said it will either be Pfizer or Moderna.
It is a treat when we get a boost of energy and it is hard to not overdo things, but it is nice while it lasts.
I just saw on the news that Pfizer is saying we may need a third shot to be totally covered. Sure wish they could make up their minds. Wish I had gotten the moderna shot instead.
It won't be any different - it isn't the vaccine per se but the development of mutations in the future. Each time they mutate, the potential is that existing vaccines will be less effective and so a more targeted one will be needed - just like the annual flu vaccine.
I think they were saying 2 shots aren't enough to be covered right now or near future. They always said we would probably need booster. That isn't this I don't think
It seems to be a combination of that and that the antibody protection fades over time - although they don't yet have enough data to say how long it lasts.
Hi ! I'm from the Parkinson's forum. Because I have chronic fatigue was checking out your site, and found your Pfizer experience interesting. Most of my PD symptoms completely disappeared for 2 to 4 days after each shot. Some others experienced likewise !
