Taking Vit D at the same time as prednisolone

Apologies if this had been asked before. In your opinion is it OK to take Vit D alone, i.e. without calcium, at the same time as prednisolone? Thanks

I do now - I had bladder problems with taking calcium supplements and stopped taking calcium nearly 2 years ago but continued with 4000 IU vit D. My last dexascan hadn't changed much from the previous one 3 1/2 years before, so half the time I;d not been taking calcium. I have tried to increase my dietary calcium.

There is no problem taking just vitamin D and pred together. Vitamin D with calcium needs to be taken at least two hours before or after pred. It is the calcium that causes the pred not to be absorbed too well.
