So, after about 2 1/2 years I am on 6 mg pred and doing sort of ok, meaning I can do what I want if I don’t push it.
Had the first COVID vaccine (Maderna, in the USA) with minimal side effects, just a sore arm for a couple of days. Had the second shot yesterday morning, and felt fine until about 12 hours later, when I went to bed. Terrible aches and pains from head to toe which kept me awake all night. Now, next morning feel a little better, but not well. This is the first time in my life I ever had a bad reaction to any vaccine. I had 16 vaccines in one day when in the military,
I’m sure I well fell much better shortly, just wanted to state that obviously, everyone is different. Wife had second shot same time and is fine.

If it's any consolation you are showing a brilliant immune response! Pretend you have the flu and do nothing much, sleep and keep hydrated, and feel better tomorrow!
Manchild, if it is any consolation, I had mine done a week ago with quite a bad reaction and my arm is still slightly swollen and tender. A friend also had a bad reaction, we have both decided that we might have had Covid and that is why the bad reaction. I spent nine days in hospital in September and I would not be surprised if I had caught it there.
