Have received Oxford vaccine !

Very pleased to add my name to the list of people who have received a vaccine without any problems. I was diagnosed early last May and am taking 9mgs at the moment. Reducing by 0.5mgs a month if possible but very sensitive to reductions so not in any hurry.

Missing seeing our children so much and hanging out to see our new granddaughter who is now 3 months old.

I have been passing the time sewing and making masks ,quilts and cushion covers and made 500 pounds for The Dogs Trust selling the masks.

I hope you all receive your protection from COVID soon and are reassured by all the positive feedback so far.

Good luck to you all.

What a lovely picture of your achievements and you looking enviably slim. It is getting on for 2 years since I saw my two daughters, husbands and 4 beloved grandchildren. They have all emigrated to the East Coast of Australia. The pressure is on for us to join them on a parent’s visa. It must be so hard not to see your little baby grand daughter, they change daily don’t they? You sound as adjusted as one can be with our illnesses. Lucky Dog’s Trust! Well done!

😂😂 I wrote that tongue in cheek: alcohol banned at the moment due to medication but the day will come. Keep quilting. 🍾

You could try a Ginger and Turmeric !😘 these are two of the supplements I think have supported me in my battle with PMR.

To echo all of that, beautiful pieces of work! You should call yourself nimble fingers. I'm a portrait artist battling with osteoarthritic hands. I can still do it, but each piece takes me longer.

That is excellent, well done you. It is so good to find something you can still do when you are battling with ill health. I hope you can continue to draw for a long time yet. Thankyou for your kind comments .

What brilliant work! Your quilts are beautiful! It’s so good that you passed the time creating heirlooms that will last forever many many decades. I hope you get to see your granddaughter soon!

Thankyou and yes , it is a good thing to find an alternative hobby within your physical means while you have PMR ! Thankyou again for your kind comments.

I began painting just before Covid struck and because of lockdown I’ve managed to create 100 or so pictures, tiles, tabletop acrylics under clear epoxy resin. Some I’ve sold or given to family but I’ve still enough for an exhibition after lockdown. I couldn’t be more surprised!

It's that sense of achievement gives us a boost and makes the effort so worthwhile. Well done Lollybygolly.
