7.5mg down to 7mg is not going according to plan.

I have made a decision after several difficult days with various aches and pains to stop the reduction (have been using Very Slow Stop method) and will return to 7.5mg daily. Not happy but really want to sleep without being disturbed by pain.

My CRP was up slightly last week, so it's probably as well.

It's 10 months since I was in a similar position when I had some horrible symptoms, so maybe this is my level for now.

Sounds like it - don't push your luck. It is a difficult point for many people. Be patient, give it a few months and try again. It will work eventually.

I always felt worse in the Winter months and this year it has been wet, wet and wet.

I seem to remember talking about weather somewhere on here.

I am the same, always seem to get stuck at 7 ,managed to get down to six and a half ,but felt so ill I had to go to 10 for a week. Slowly back to seven and a half again . So many people manage to get really low numbers , I would be happy to get to 5 and stay there permanently.

I was on 5 this time last year, almost made it to 2.5 but now 12 months later am back at 5. I know there are many on this forum like you would love to get to 5, even 10 for some, so I will relax, be patient and grateful that I am here and not higher. All the best.

I was stuck at 7 mgs for about a year, then suddenly something seemed to shift ( I kept trying).

Pushing it never seems to work for me, either. I was at 7.5 going very slowly to 7, then to 6.5 and the pains started so much I had to up to 9.5 and stay there. I'm still there, just cannot come down since when I do, I feel the pains again. I will wait a few weeks and try again, since I will have had both vaxxes by then! Good luck, and stay steady, as needed.

It’s a lot of people’s sticking point, sometimes we have to ‘give in’ & accept that 0.5mg can make a difference & hang in there a bit longer, says she who is battling the same issue but at 13mg

Hang in there a bit longer & try again when you feel able.

Keep Safe & Well 🌺

Thanks everyone. I feel much better today, maybe down to making the decision.

Whenever my Dr asks me what dose I am on and I say 7.5mg he always interprets it as 7mg lol

Wishful thinking I guess. If only he could understand what a difference that .5mg makes.

Bon mardi à tous. 💫

Perhaps really slow with 1/4 mg over month or even 2. You can't cut the quarters very accurately, but any small discrepancy is usually ok.

Good luck, P

Petros, if you get the uncoated 2.5mg they split really well in half so you get your 0.25mg plus 1mg ie 1.25mg which you can use to make up the required dose.....

I know this because every time l pushed a 2.5mg out of the pack it would always split in two!

Thanks Mrs Nails. I only get 1 and 5 coated and manage quite well as long as I stay slow. I am o n the change from 5.5 to 5.25 , target 5 at Easter. I shall probably stay there, as this level is a safe haven for my age. Best regards P.
