This is what doctor said

Thank you for your recent eConsult request. PMR does not in itself increase your risk of having serious illness if you were to catch covid. For patients with PMR we have to take into account the dose of steroids they are taking and whether or not they have any other conditions which would increase their risk. As you are taking less than 20mg daily and have no other risk factors you would be in a medium risk category. This means that you do not need to shield but should maintain strict social distancing at all times and take all practical measures to minimise your risk. I hope this information helps you."

What a helpful letter! It's the sort of reply my GP would have sent.I've had my first jab, and absolutely no problems.
