Firstly thank you to everyone for your helpful replies to my query. What would I do without you!
My blood tests are all normal (except for slightly raised cholesterol and slightly raised blood sugar) My CRP is 4 which I am really pleased about as it was 298 at Christmas when I had sepsis!
I have also coincidentally had a call from my rheumatologist today and he said my swelling could still be thyroid even with my normal TFT and thyroid antibodies. He equally felt it could be prednisilone. He said a thyroid swelling would move up and down as I swallow and would be fairly firm. My swelling is soft and does not move as i swallow so it is probably the steroids. Thankyou all so much.
