Ok so I am almost hysterical about all the stuff keeps happening. I have a phone appointment with surgeon tomorrow for pre colonoscopy I think. My diverticulitis is still flairing after a month.
So I decided to go out into my front yard and plant the geraniums my neighbor gave me. I put a rug down and laid on my stomach while planting and digging. Might have looked silly but worked well for me. And my shoulders are sore but not to bad.. as I was going to get up I leaned on my 5 gal bucket and it tilted sideways and I fell against my orange grape tree. It cut my arm about 2 inches on one an inch on another and then about 15 punctures. The tree has the rough bark on it and left hundreds of splinters in wounds. So off to doc where they had to scrub it all out. The last thing I need is another infection. I have just finished 24 days of antibiotics and don’t want any more.
The up side is my little patch of dirt under my bedroom window is now planted and it felt so good to have my hand in dirt. I was going to post a pic but it is too gross to put up here.
I just found my Arnica but unsure if it can go on open wounds. He was going to stitch it close but with so many splinters he was worried some might get closed inside wound so we all agreed to leave it open. I am not concerned about it scarring at this point in my life. 🦋
I am so perplexed by how much damage I seem to do to my body. I didn’t even feel the huge scratches on my ribs ... I just hired my neighbor to be my gardener. She was my caterer but my diverticulitis can’t seem to be able to eat just yet so back to bland foods. It sure was nice though digging in the dirt. 🤪
