This lifts my spirits up when looking out of the window and then opening the door, the perfume and walking along the front path. My neighbour took the photo and then surprised me when she sent it to me and said, 'each year I wait and then it is here once more'. My Mama planted it in 1998 and I have to give it a chop every other year, else we would not see the cottage. Last year we moved it down by 2ft. When I say 'we' my gardeners did it and it was fun to watch. They sat me on a seat so I could say, when etc.

Lovely!
that was a LOVELY thing to wake to.!!!
Beautiful
Naughty - you should have waited till tomorrow. No doubt you will be forgiven by all though. What a lovely sight.
We'll be over tomorrow!?!!
That makes us feel really jealous!!! Ours didn't flower at all this year, which was probably our fault with the timing of our pruning.
Enjoy. It looks fantastic.

Yes picture book.
Beautiful and the cottage!
I actually bought it twice.
Once in 1988 and lived in it for three years, I moved to Hampton Wick as I was asked to transfer. Then when I retired in 1998 and it was on the market so I bought it again.
Your dates must be squint ...
It was and still is. My friends thought I was mad, as it was really too big for one person.
However, as it turned out my Cousin who is 9 years older and had lived with Mam and I the first time around moved in with me. Friends bought me a sign, it is beside the front door and makes everyone smile. It has two lovely funny ducks painted on and below those ducks ""Two Old Ducks live here".
