Skin Problem

Anyone else out there experience this. I have two very very tiny areas on my face of what appears to be thin skin, it will heal over and look better for awhile and then if I wear makeup and wash my face, it reappears.

Is the skin broken?

Right now it looks like it's healing again, but I went for over a month and it looked fine, like normal skin....checked against all the signs of skin cancer and doesn't fall under any of them, so thought it could be the prednisone, as my cousin, who has been on pred for a lot of years, his skin is almost translucent.

Pred can certainly make skin thin and increase broken veins in the face. Are these spots anywhere that may be getting repeated rubbing, even very light?

it's on my face, so whenever I'm washing my face it's being rubbed by the wash cloth...just thought others might be having this issue....as long as I'm careful and pamper it, it's fine and I need the magnifying makeup mirror to see them for the most part until the one becomes rubbed and then it's noticeable

As far as possible skin cancer, I’d suggest just keep an eye on it. Was unaware that skin cancer can come and go until I had it. 9+ years ago. What I had looked like tinea on my cheek. Totally cleared up for 3-4 months then reappeared. My best.
