Only 22, there are 83 recorded side effects of pred. Listed as Common, Rare, Very Rare and extremely rare.

I can add two others, the first is 'treacle brain' others call it 'steroid brain fog'. The second one is 'Dropping things unconsciously, they just slide out of your hands and have hit the deck before you can say 'damn'.

Nobody I know has ever got them all..............thank goodness and most clear up eventually. 🙏

The 'devil' it seems that I can't live without - at least for now - but despite all the possible side effects - of which I've only so far had a few - I'd do it all again to save my vision ! Thanks for this M.

Number 14 is important to name! Thank you to this brave woman for sharing....many folks leave the discussion about sex and chronic illness to the last, or not at all.

Gotta say pred helped me “get my groove back” after months of pain when I was undiagnosed. Now it’s the current pandemic and uncertainty that’s impacted our sex lives (once again, something that is common place but not often discussed except between clients and sexuality professionals, or among those who work in the field).

Thanks for sharing this.....some of the comments resonated with me. Along with my discussion with my GP when I started pred, an article like this capturing the true voices of their experience, would have been most helpful.
