Many thanks to all who responded to my post about a medical alert bracelet. I've whittled it down to the mollymandy theidband.com company. I'll place an order with them. I still have my PMRGCAuk steroid user card, but it's tatty and I don't keep it up to date. But that plus my bracelet might save my live in the eventuality that I need it. Hope not.

Hi Roy, you dont need to do a separate message to thank anyone as you can just do it in your original post.YBB
I didn't see your earlier post. If I had I would have made my comment before you placed your order. But for other people seeing this thread this is what I have just posted in reply to Dorset Lady on the first thread.:
"At least in Canada Universal medicalID has that service, but it comes with purchase of the bracelet, no annual fee. I couldn't believe there was no annual fee (medicalert has a recurring fee) so I emailed them before I bought mine and they assured me there would be online info I could keep updated about all my medical conditions and medication plus next of kin contact as long as I lived. This can be accessed by first reponders or medical personnel through a PIN on the bracelet."
It is more expensive, but it is a one time investment and where I live there is a tendency for drivers to knock down pedestrians with alarming frequency so I feel more secure knowing there's a good amount of info available to medical personnel via my bracelet.
