You need to make an appointment as soon as possible with the GP to get this checked because using more aspirin than required and having Liver issues you need to be sure you haven't changed your blood volume / thickness and platelets.

You need to let them know what happened and even if they do not suggest it , politely but firmly request Full Blood Count / Blood Plasma and full liver panel.

If you have been suffering with feelings of a Flare in any of your usual inflammation and Pain you also need to request your ESR/ CRP.

Obviously , now you have spotted the problem you will have taken your original dose of Pred .

Keep doing so at the same dose until you have had these blood tests and had GP advice.

To prevent possible mix ups that we can all get because of our Brain Fog and Fatigue with any Chronic Health problem , especially with more than one health issue and several drugs on our list , it is really useful to get yourself a pill box with daily sections to stop picking up the wrong boxes or missing medications.

Have a little notebook with the list of your pills in it .

When you fill it for each day , look at the box carefully to check the name.

Put the required doses in for each pill for each day , check the box and name again then tick it straight off the list.

Do this for each pill until all your individual doses for each day is filled.

This helps you to feel confident that you don't make a mix up , and you can see if you have missed a dose because it is still in the box.

Keep it in a visible place on the side in the bathroom or bedroom or a kitchen cupboard.

It's also a good idea to have a small travel box of unopened pill blister packs or a bottle with a few pills in for your drugs in your bag at all times , in case you get an emergency or are delayed away from home.

Especially in Winter when you can get stuck in weather delays.

With your travel box , at the end of each month when your prescription comes in , you put new packs in the travel box and use the ones that you took from it as part of that months home supply.

This makes sure that the pills you take out do not go out if date.

Take care , Bee

Hello, I think you’ve hopped on to another forum to your usual. This is a doctor question due to your liver condition and the potential effect of aspirin on clotting. We wouldn’t know what to advise with the Pred in the context of your issues. PMR is the autoimmune condition that we deal with on here which is not liver related. Good luck!

Not our expertise- sorry. You need to contact your GP.

Yes , definitely still a trip to the GP , and only make changes for your dose with their advice.

I realise you have probably posted here because of the prednisolone issue - however, since we have no knowledge of your personal medical history we can't really help. But I think you really do need to speak to your doctor soon.
