I am male, 68, generally fit and healthy living in mid-Michigan, US. PMR diagnosed mid October of 2019. BIOPSY non-conclusive for GCA but my Rheumatologist put me on 60 mg Prednisone at our first visit based on symptoms and history. Totally lost for the first weeks of the journey but getting more rational now that the pain and panic are much less! Prednisone, my best friend and foe!
