Thank you

After suffering as you saw from my first post I agreed with my GP to go back up to 4mg. And we discussed giving it 3 weeks and going up again if needed. I am pleased to say 4mg is doing it. Pain much better although fatigued when I overdo it but accept that is inevitable.

I just wanted to say thank you to those who replied to my first post. It makes such a difference knowing the support is there.

Good - and 4mg is such a low dose there is no hurry to get lower.

In the meantime ask your Gp for a Synacthen test, this will show how up to speed your adrenal glands are doing. They have been asleep all the time you have been taking pred and they can take a long time to get up to speed again.
