Yes, it's comprehensive and invaluable.
I have found it very informative and invaluable in understanding PMR.
Yes.
Thankyou all for your kind and prompt replies
It’s a great book. It set me on the right road. Just a word of warning, your mother comes from a wonderfully stoic generation and she is maybe down playing her symptoms. I haven’t heard of a mild case of PMR. I am sure you will ensure that she gets all the help she needs. X
The book was cheaper on Fishpond when I bought it; it is very helpful
It's excellent!

Thanks again for your useful replies. My mother is very touched
I read it on Kindle and thought it was great - good sensible practical and positive advice - highly recommended
Don’t think twice about it; it’s informed, easy to read and helps you to understand the nature of the beast.
Excellent book!! I had mine from Amazon on my kindle.👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you all!
Speaking of books..... A book I have found extremely helpful in adjusting emotionally to a serious, recently diagnosed illness is
Kitchen Table Wisdom, Stories that Heal by Rachel Naomi Remen. Also her next book My Grandfather’s Blessings.
Rachel is a MD who has a serious chronic illness herself, and who works with people with various serious diagnoses. The stories she tells, her’s and those of her patients, are filled with compassion and wisdom. These are not medically oriented books but equally important.
