Ad cal

Was talking to a friend who also takes ad cal and she said she chews them whereas I swallow them whole. Can you do it either way or should I be chewing them? Thanks

Look at the box - are they Adcal D3 chewable tablets?

If you’re not sure check, either the information paperwork or your pharmacy.

There are both chewable and non chewable so check. I take non chew ones and called caplets.

They do both versions. I found the ones to swallow were too big to swallow for me. I got the enormous chewable one’s upon request - mpossible to mistake them.

Thankyou for your help have checked mine and they don’t say chewable, didn’t realise there were different ones 🤷‍♀️😆

I struggle to digest them these days, started with ones to suck for years….progressed to caplets, now trying, on a good day, the ones that dissolve...but think most people start with ones to suck....

You swallow AdCal WHOLE? Are you on capsules? You wouldn't manage to swallow the chewables

The caplets are a relatively new feature and probably cost more - though I don't know
