This sounds sensible to me. I have done gentle yoga and even yoga where the yoga instructor positions my limbs for me. I wouldn’t do a too strenuous exercise regime, your muscles are vulnerable. Inform your teacher about PMR. I am at your stage but on 5 and 4.mgs alternating.
Yes I find it fine while I’m there, although getting up and down on the mat must be a sight for sore eyes from the back 😂 but later when my muscles hurt I wonder if I should wait until I’m clear of PMR.
I did Iyengha yoga for a couple of years, as well as Pilates, and I found it helpful - although it had to be heavily adapted for me. It was also positions but not held for as long as in Yin yoga.
