Not only Pmr but I may have Spondyloarthritis Taking 7.5 meloxican 2 day with new meds in addition to my 4 mil predsone. And I was able to sleep all night and get out of bed. !!!! Hope this works! anyone else have Pmr plus. Something else in the arthritis family ? Off to bend my body 😉

Don't overdo it, but enjoy!

I know a couple of people who were first diagnosed with PMR, one even showed GCA symptoms, but it turned out to be ankylosing spondylitis which responds fairly well to meloxicam (unlike PMR) and for which there is a choice of excellent biologics for longer term management. One of the signals is night time back pain that happens earlier than is usual for PMR - so, sort of 1am or so.

Are you saying you have PMR and started on 4mg of pred? That seems very low if I understand you.

No. 2 years later I am at 4 mg. Stop actrimra about 6 moths ago against the old rummy orders Did not like the way I felt and did not feel it was helping me with tapering down

It wouldn't if you haven't got PMR but AS - different biologic required!
