my partner broke his hip at the end of february and had a sucessful operation where they fixed the broken bone with pins/screws.
he had a three month checkup / xray and the consultant was very happy with how it looked.
however, he is still limping pretty badly and tends to still be in quite a bit of pain after a short walk. the GP's aren't really doing anything apart from prescribing co-codamol.
has anyone else broken their hip and how long did the limping / pain take to settle.
many thanks!
