Just learned how to post-- I hope. You folks are much help with all your info. When you tell people you have PMR they say WHAT? But I too said that when the Dr. told me. The first few weeks were so awful! I really thought I was dying. It hit me at 3:00 in the morning and it took me many hours to get out of bed. Then I could not walk bend etc. I receintly got a lift chair so I am prepared. Love this chair.

Taking 5 Pred. I am 81 yrs young. dx about 8months ago. Keep smiling, S

Thank you so much. You are so right! Do you know how long this will last? I kina think it is forever. Looking back I think I have had it for 30 years or so.

Ah, if we knew the answer to that question we’d be very happy but unfortunately it lasts as long as it lasts, it’s described as Self Limiting but l think it has a mind of its own!

As jinasc has been saying for years - it comes when it wants and it will go when it wants and nothing you can do will alter that!!

Unfortunately we just don't know, but I guess it will hang around for quite a while. We just have to keep smiling and hope for the best.
