Hi Glennda. I thought you had given up the site. Foot not healed yet but I have learned to walk without a limp. Prednisone down to 1 mg per day. How are you managing?

Hello. Mikb. I have flared and needed to go back to 7.5mg to get back some wuslity of life. Doing better now but not going down right now. Just trying to stsy out of pain and enjoying life.

I have also had foot problems, but have had relief from orthodics made by a lady who has treated many people with PMR. Still hoping for remission.

Cairo cat is named after my black Egyptian Mau cat that I adopted when I was in Cairo in 2010. She's travelled the world with me but is happily settled in front of the fire most days.

I just had a blab with my daughter who lives in Toronto as well and they are reeling from the cold. She was born in Edmonton so ....how quick we forget.

I spent quite a bit of time in Cairo. Didn't think to adopt a cat lol. Yes, Toronto is under an extreme cold warning alert right now. Today's high is expected to be -15. I have heat, food and wine, so I don't have to leave the house. 🍷😁

You're up late! It is beautiful. Not fun for driving in or shovelling, but luckily I have 2 strapping 18 year olds to do it for me. Not happily, but they do it.

oh my. maybe a photo of that! Nothing better than 2 strapping 18 year olds grumbling out in the snow with shovels! I LOVED having TEENAGERS!!! absolutely LOVED it! (as hard as it was. course 18 is pretty reasonable and independent! enjoy!

Thank you. I certainly needed cooling down. So happy right now because it's raining. Just hope the lightning doesn't put out the power again.

Lovely sight. I've just returned from Austria where they have 3m in the village and life goes on. Tomorrow's forecast for the UK is snow for some. A massive 5cm and listening to the TV reports you'd think the end of the world is nigh. Crazy, sensationalist journalism these days.

I am in the french part in Switzerland and brand new in the group. Also having PMR since 19 month and fighting with ups and dows and doctors not always knowing what to do.I discovered the group by searching different informations about the treatments and you are the first person I send a message and contact...when I saw the snow...Here also...our point in common. It is good to share....specially with my health problems not very well understood by the family and friends......new friends are welcome.
