Son visited yesterday and a reorganising took place. The difference its made to me is huge. I had already sort estimates for telephone sockets etc., Son did everything without that . Old woman men quoting never told me I didn't need it. They wanted the work and £290 pounds lighter to me. Very breathless yesterday so am at docs again. I have tried airport assistance before and found myself at Gatwick last year aged 81 with another lady being told to follow an assortment of other travellers being pushed in chairs we had to drag our cases. Man at desk feet up mumbling at me I asked if he was speaking to me. Benefit was getting on plane first.Second time was following an electric cart with laughing younger family group in it one only had sticks. I felt resentment.
Whoops time is moving on time to brave the Chelsey tractors in the tiny car park.
Love all. xx

Just look at the way people in the UK treat waiters and bar staff - here they are never treated like that. It is a recognised and valued career opportunity, in the UK it is a part-time, help-out job to fill the gaps in meeting the bills.
Not done a great deal of traveling with PMR but Manchester is usually very good, Heathrow not great, Majorca was appalling abandoned us in baggage claim with a long walk to taxis, Reykjavik on the other hand was fantastic.
