As you all know on this site I have been a bit down and just tired I reckon. This disease takes it out of you which ever way we turn. Do too little, we're bored....do too much we're exhausted. Who wins? Us with our own bodies which ever way we feel as independent people just somehow can't win. Well I hope my photo makes you all share a future in life and happines for this Christmas . They are our future in happiness. I wish you all on this site, who by the way are the most amazing people I Have ever met with this thing that we have. We understand each other through ups and downs. Each to our own. As Uncle MB would say HIP HIP HORRAY or would that be Tedski? To all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy and Healthy 2019. Much love to you all Janette xxx

Greetings morrison (Janette)

I think your Post sums it up, esp your comment: "Do too little, we're bored.. do too much we're exhausted. Who wins?" Such a dilemma - I know it well! :-D

As you say, this really is a very special Advice and Support / Experience Sharing community for those of Us Lot with PMR and GCA. And Yep: these types of serious and chronic AI illnesses can cause even the most resilient of us to feel 'down' at times.

My Philosophy? Try to roll-with the inevitable Ups and Downs, remember that you are not alone on the PMR / GCA Journey, and try to keep positive about the future. Things can and often will get better. Just be patient..

As for Tedski's Philosophy? I asked him today. His reply: (q.) 'He / She Who Sins, Grins'. Enough said? :-D

Best wishes to you and all here for a peaceful Christmas and a Positive, more healthy 2019.

'Uncle' MB

I have tingling/pins and needles in my shoulderblades and it occasionally runs up my neck to the back of my head. It is due to myofscial pain syndrome and tight mucles irritating nerves nearby. It has been part of my PMR right since the start,
