Indian Runner Duck Jane. Lickey Hills pond. Lost his/her mate last year! Mystery how they they were there as they don't fly! Mucks in with the Mallards ok so far!

Yer. Had a lot blood tests over the past couple of years with my various conditions etc.

The Blood Count data sheet gives the enzyme, hormone & cell information at the time of each test. This came from my Rheumy. Good information it is. What may be missing is the effect of steroids on the ideal parameters of "normal" readings! Not much information on that when you look it up! The neurosis of it all doesn't help my paranoia! ATB

Well done NHS indeed, might ask my rheumie or GP, seeing him today. for mine... Well done you! Don't think we'll get that information re steroids though - if it's available at all...

Really comical when running T. Leans back like Michael Johnson taking the bend in the 400!

It is really good information. I read somewhere that GCA can show up as a low MCV (small red blood cells).Whether this is true who knows! Can't trust some of the medical stuff on the net!

You are probably right about steroid effect on blood counts! Who knows!

Good luck with your appointment. You have a good one haven't you.

Can see the funny side of MJ running taking the bend in the 400....

Low MCV - be worth looking into.

Thanks - got a good GP.

Low MCV happens in anaemia of chronic disease - and found in PMR and GCA.

Perhaps another useful marker then pro!

My red cells are a bit on the higher side at the moment!

Can't believe that the wine can be nailing the GCA though It sometimes feels like it!
