Are my muscles changing, or is it imagination?

I have been on Prednisone for about 2 months as well as Methotrexate. So far, I am doing well. What I have noticed is that my muscles seem to be improving and flab is less, even though I am at the same weight. Is this wishful thinking ?

I did lose weight before my PMR was treated, quite rapidly. I am currently as plump as a Christmas turkey. Watch the carbs. I wish I had this second year, I got disheartened.

So easy to get disheartened but never too late to start if only a little. I have my ups and downs with the eating but on the occasions that I have tried to keep the diet under control I do feel more positive and feel at least I have control over something!!

I recently found out that my second daughter and her husband and my two little grandsons are going to make Australia their permanent home along with my eldest daughter, husband and grandson and granddaughter, who already live there. So I think there has been some emotional eating going on. I’ll pull myself together. I always do.

Thanks Debby! I sleep with an old fluffy sheep he left behind. I looked after him for 2 wonderful years while his mummy worked. I will see him on 7/12. They are coming for Christmas!
