No more ribbit for you then. Flies are off the menu too but I guess it was a real hassle trying to fold your tounge back in after a delicious swat??? 🐸

Hehehehe... you get me too! xxx

How satisfying to have someone say that they can remove at least one of the problems. I have skin tags, moles and warty things that I would love to have removed. Was it really, really expensive? Can you give me a ball park figure?

Of course you are nothing like a toad, even a cute one. These things do make us reject our own bodies though. It would be an enormous psychological boost to be able to say Lady Macbethlike “ Out foul spot”!

Now for the lipo on the belly, back and jowls!

in reply to SheffieldJane

JANE!!!!!! Yes, it was SATISFYING! And in a few short minutes, the problem was solved... now some would say it wasn't a "problem" at all, and in the big scheme of things, I would agree; but they have been niggling at me for 7+ months now and I was sick of them. And thank you for saying I was a cute Toad! xxxx

I said you weren’t even a cute toad by comparison as you well know. Having said that I like toads, frogs and lizards. You swerved my money question. Did they charge per wart?

in reply to SheffieldJane

Ahhhhh, I read what I want to read... sorry! ; ) I love LIZARDS too!!! Not so much frogs and toads. I have Lizards all over my house! At last count I think there were twenty-something. Ceramic, wood, stone, glass, brass, tin, copper.... the grandchildren love them! Max and I walk around the house saying "Hello" to them and patting each of them... : ) Ahhhhh, good times. xxx

I have a child friendly house too with interesting little things everywhere. Inspired by my own Grandma, only I’ve gone further. I have temple bells that stop a baby crying immediately, in astonishment. A really soothing chime.

On the toad point, I worry when we knock ourselves even in jest. I am trying to stop myself doing it. I’ve seen plenty of photos of you and you are a pretty woman, warts and all. 🐸👀

How wonderful to get something dealt with immediately, yes, I know you had to pay, but worth every penny......

Have to say though, we have 3 lovely toads in our garden😉

in reply to Longtimer

Yes, it was nice to have a small problem "solved." ...and I'l bet tour toads are much cuter than my face was!

How is your skin coping with it all? I was thinking with having some moles/warts removed but hesitated due to the fact that Predmakes your skin more fragile (and that they are on my torso and not readily seen).

in reply to peace_lover

So far so good... one small blueberry sized black and blue under right eye, where he had injected anaesthesia I think, and small "scabs" where he shaved off the bits and pieces... Not too worse for wear! I didn't even have him look at the ones on Nine Month Pregnant looking belly!!!! : o

Sounds like the needle did more damage (temporary) than the actual removal! I always have more bruising with blood tests now...sigh.

in reply to peace_lover

Yeah... but at least I know the bruise will go away... the yucky wart would not! ; )

Money well spent. I have numerous skin tags appearing around my neck, absolutely horrible. I remember my Grandma having lots of them. If they get worse I will be raiding my piggy bank and following your example. There has to be something that our bodies throw at us that we can kick into submission. Good for you.

in reply to Jean56

Thank Jean 54! Yes I believe it was money well spent and that is al that matters! Raid that piggy bank!

The self assured princess, dining on sautéed frogs legs 🐸 springs to mind . I’m all for anything that makes us feel better .

in reply to Chrob

Yup... it made me feel much better!

I loved him ,, saw him in docklands some years ago . The Summer Wind one of the favourite songs , going to be playing that in my head all night now . Nothing wrong with an eclectic taste .

in reply to Chrob

Yes I went with my Mom many, many years ago and saw him in Providence, RI. It was amazing... even though he was more my Mom's taste than mine.

Hey! That’s brilliant, l have them on my legs since Steroids/Chemo/Methotrexate so planning to go Privately to see a Dermatologist as when l pointed them out to the NHS Dermatologist when I went for the biopsy (which turned out to be Bowen’s Disease) he said they were cosmetic & he wouldn’t treat them! 🤬

Hope the skin is not too sore where he’s treated them 🤕

You’ll be all beautiful again soon xx

in reply to

Ohhhhh, thanks Mrs Nails! I hope you are settling in! xxx

in reply to

We’re ‘trapped’ upstairs 😂 Mr E unpacked some new furniture for our bedroom & threw the boxes out on to the landing, now he’s got to work his way through it all!.....

Hahahahahahahahaha! Oh my! I hope you get out soon!

Congrats on finding a way to make yourself feel better!

What exactly did you have removed mamici? We’re they all skin tags that the doc just cut off?

I have a dermatologist appt next week, no skin tags but lots of hard white bumps and broken capillaries, adding beauty to the moon face, eye bags and raccoon eyes with dark circles.

in reply to Mstiles

Hi e, Not 100% sure... he told me what they were but I didn't take it in... I just wanted them gone. Two were just skin tags (on my eyelids) the rest were lumps and bumps. Yes I had some hard white bumps too... actually lots of them! Yes along with the dark circles and moon face... Good luck next week!

You do make me laugh. Out loud. Good start to day. I had lots of tiny skin tags removed in my late twenties and felt so much better about myself afterwards. Today I have a skin tag on steroids - it is huge. Everything seems to sprout in abundance these days and in undesirable places. Now where's the cotton? DIY job for me a bit later!

in reply to Pongo13

Yes, everything does seem to "sprout in abundance," doesn't it??? God luck with that DIY job! Hahahahahahahaha. Or come to Hove and I'll hook you up !

Did the Dr say that he would expect you to get more while on the pred still?

in reply to bunnymom

He didn't say... I should have asked. The answer is probably YES!
