Two year anniversary

Well it’s two years this week, I remember as I was going to the Chelsea flower show with my sister on the day after my diagnosis. And the Dr gave me these these magic pills But when she said you will be on steroids for 12-18 months I was quite shocked, but now looking back I’ve come a long way on the journey, but don’t fancy a second trip.

My first year was quite fraught but thankfully I found this site and have learned so much and had the support and advice of all you lovely people. I could not of done it on my own. My second year I seemed to take control more, well sort of, and be more positive and accepting and thing are so much more improved now. I feel I’m out of the storm and just waiting for the sun to shine again.

But I must share a funny pred head story.

So there I am cooking Sunday lunch and just putting in the roast pots in the oven, my brand new range cooker I might add, when a while later I noticed it is puffing out smoke from the oven, well t thought I’d burnt the spuds , but far worse I’d put a pair of kitchen scissors in the tray with the potatoes and the plastic handles had gone a lovely new molded shape!!!

Honestly ✂️

Thanks for sharing! At first, I was embarrassed by stupid things I’ve been doing since PMR but I’m more accepting one year later. Laughing about it helps. The aging process contributes to all this as well. I have become way funnier since I have no stress from work and have stepped back and realize lessons are constantly learned. It is a joy not to be on the “busy” train!

Yes I like the busy train or rather not. It’s good to laugh and be at one with ourselves xx
