Well last week the coil pack on my MX5 died. New one ordered and I got my son to help with the fitting. Well really I was getting him to do most of it, but as we all know this ends up in you doing some of the work! Stretching and fiddling in a small place, holding a torch so he could see what to do.

Well Thursday night my right bicep was telling me I had over done it, I knew that, but it was one of those jobs that couldn't be left. But what a pain, the wrong stretching.

Last night was a 6mg dose, so a little worse that the last 6mg, but I know what I did and I got to go to work yesterday topless. Off out again so in the end it was worth it.

What is it that "they" say? Payback is a b_ _ _ _! I did a fair amount of cleaning on Monday, but like you, it was just a lot of stretching, bending, fiddling in a small places... I wasn't moving furniture, or scrubbing floors on my hands and knees! ...but man was I sore on Tuesday! I felt like I had been hit by a truck after running a marathon!

I checked out your car... Mazda, right? Cute. Enjoy the good weather and enjoy going topless! ; o

Yes, it's a little old Mazda a NB for those that are interested.

On the plus side, my reduction is going well, next doctors appointment booked and the next reduction will be to 5.5, that's if I do make it to 6mg. I'll need some 2.5 gastro resistant tablets and maybe some 1mg uncoated, just in case I need that little extra.

Well today started of a bit sore, spent way to much time on my feet and no nap.

So now feeling tired, bit not as sore.

I'll be in bed by 10 and up about 6 for my normal Sunday stuff :)

Indeed it is, went for a little drive up the Bwlch, that was fun and then sat out in the street having a little drink.

Where do you live Julian? We have a 'bwlch' here in Ruthin, North Wales, are you anywhere near?

I'm South Wales, I'm sure there are many Bwlch's around the place, I expect you have some great views from yours.

At least it's fixed now. It's funny how such jobs didn't seem much in the past. I had a very camper van that had dodgy starter motor. I had to get someone to turn ignition while I bashed starter motor with a hammer. Eventually I replaced it. I would be calling recovery for a wheel change now!

I may have to take it out and change the frame, just to get it fitting properly, but it's working.

And by I may, I mean I'll get my son.

We packed the camper up the other day - and boy did my biceps pinch next day! Knew I should have split the contents of that bag to carry it out!!! Never mind - all better now, warm and sunny on Lake Garda ...

I'm surprised by the way it hurts, strange and oddly interesting. At least I know it will pass and it's not a flare.

it's hot and has been sunny here in South Wales, not as nice as Lake Garda, but I'll hold that against you ;)

The car is likely to be worth the pain. Hope you are still enjoying other hobbies-JulianJ (ssshh 🤫) and “taps aff” is always good.

Best wishes, Irene

Only talking today, other stuff tomorrow.

Our hobbies are good for us and I think we all need something to take our minds away from out other issues.

A friend came with me, he's had a knee replaced, watching us getting in and out must have given people a good laugh.

Julian J, over did it a bit, we all have done it to ourselves. I just try to stay active doing a bit of physical activity each day. Plus my hobbies help keeping me in shape skiing and bicycle riding. But when I over do it I pay very important to listen to your body.

Think positive and smile ☺️

PMA is very important to me, I try to walk most days, but working on the car is something I haven't done for ages and involved stretching when I shouldn't. hay ho, that is life. As you say listening to our bodies is important and we all need make sure we do.
