Better: New rheumy ( young, female & Austrian--still my beating heart!) concurred with previous decision.... CRP level is at 12.5 ( best for 7 years) and it appears my PMR is becoming dormant (like me --fatigued!). Still the matter of reducing down from 5mg Pred though.
Worse: Still not fully shaken off what was eventually diagnosed as a pulled hamstring. After 40 years of injury-free contact sports I get a sports injury at 68 years old?!?!?! It is no longer as painful so there is an end in sight (apart from DNR).
Uglier: To temper my good mood I am just recovering from a bout of cellulitis on my lymphoedemic legs exacerbated by (wait for it!) the recent spell of very warm weather. What a weird month April has been (snow followed by a week at 29 degrees C followed by spring at a more sedate 12/13 degrees C).

Worse part is you are now perhaps more susceptible to injury in the hamstring area. : (
Uglier, I imagine, is that warmer weather may be on it's way, but one can never tell!
