Thank you all for your responses to my overeating. Feeling a bit better now, don't have the same hunger pangs. Coming get down to 5.0 5mgs tomorrow so will see if they come back. If so back up to 6.00mgs for a day on and off. Could still eat Stilton and oatcakes though Dorset lady. Ha ha. X

I always justify it as added calcium. Do wonder why the cheese yearning is strongest just before bedtime though. I've been buying half fat cheddar but it just doesn't hit the same spot as full fat hard goat's cheese with oatmeal crackers.

Full fat ok..but not too much saturated. It is time for a trip to deli I recently found. I bought lots of nice cheese for Xmas. I am veggie so checked that but forgot to check if pasteurised. I am not really allowed unpasteurised at moment. I had to eat them vicariously through others. There was a lovely looking hard swaledale goats cheese in the mix. But it was the wensleydale that everyone raved about that I missed. When i go to deli if they are all pasteurised I will stamp my feet lol 😂

I'm trying to be veggie though won't ever manage vegan because of the cheese; I find the cheese substitutes truly disgusdting. All our local independent delis seem to have closed. There was also a good italian shop - also gone - so I envy you. Swaledale is very good - I try -emphasis on word try- to eat it in very small quantitities but...

I was Vegan for 8 years but at that time cheeses weren't veggie. I am 50/50 On going back to it after 30 years of being veggie. I do love my cheese. At least I have two neices in family that are either vegan or veggie so don't stand alone now!!

I also have cheese craving at night...usually last snack after yogurt, fruit with peanut butter. I don’t eat crackers because of carb fear! Woke up during the night and had cereal, blueberries and half and half mixed with milk. Cereal is my big vice (addiction). Pred makes me carb crazy! No bread which is a giant sacrifice!
