Finished shopping today and the till assistant said you have taken my school photo's since I started school. When I left At 15 I was so excited and proud that you picked me as the tallest to stand at the top of the group for our photograph . It was lovely for me to be recognised after leaving my job as a school photographer, which I miss terribly after 25 years of beine there. Made me think. I still feel the same as then. We all have good days and bad. We are so lucky to be here and have new venues to explore. Thank god for the pred, even although we all have our ups and downs with it. It is a lifesaver when of course you are on a low dose and able to continue pain free. There is light at the end of the tunnel for us all. Happy New Year 2018 to you all. X

Thankyou for that positive take on pmr. It's not going to kill us and for that we should be eternally thankful!!!!
That is lovely. It is amazing how one kind and appreciate word can provide a lift and remind you that you had positive impact, especially on a young person. I am sure you will continue to have positive impact despite PMR. This story already Has had one!🌻
Appreciation for our work is so affirming! The best call I got after 40 years as a financial advisor to urban school employees was a teacher who said she never would have been able to travel, buy a truck and live a good life without my pushing her to save more money every year!
Yes pred is a lifesaver- we all hate it but would be in a terrible state without it. How lovely to have some positive feedback from that person. As you say makes us realise how fortunate we are and also it can make us realise that we can still make a difference to others even when we may limited in what we can do.
