I know we've discussed this before and I am much more in control of hot flushes now.
I was wondering....
I moved smoothly from menopausal hot flushes to steroidal (or is it PMR I forget) flushes and now get one or 2 flushes in 24 hours, always one once I have got up for the loo around 6/7am.
Do the male suffers have hot flushes?

What a gorgeous baby! Nothing gratuitous about showing her off.
My guess is that all PMR sufferers get hot irrespective of gender, but we kind of lay claim to that territory ( and much else) so we don't hear enough from the chaps. The Pred flushes aren't hormonal are they?
Not sure about the males, but I do get 3 or 4 flushes a day and I am way past menopause. I was getting the flushes before prednisone and before my diagnosis of PMR and I was at least 8 yrs past menopause. I wish I knew what it was. I DO know that soy affects me and it will increase my flushes, so I stay away from anything soy. I am gluten-free and try to stay organic too. But I still “heat up” at times and off comes the long sleeves and the window gets opened! Ugh 😑
