Hi I'm Pam!!!...I joined the forum about 3weeks ago...I've been reading lots of what health problems you I have. What a relief,it's not only my body falling apart...I think your all quite wonderful in what you have to say,questions&answers!..it's rather like a big familyπŸ˜†...I will write later about my problems, but I have to get ready for hospital,my orthopaedic appointment is today, its on going,I need knee replacement,it will delayed till next year.I'm rambling on,must be the age,haha!!..I'm epileptic, newly diagnosed, due to "a nerve being nicked, whilst have a tumour removed on 1st March'17 in my head/ear"..I was informed of this after being talked to hospital on the 19th September'17 to A&E,by chance a Neurologist consultant was in the hospital for a meeting&she looked at the 3rd CT scan in as many months and told me straight what was wrong!..I also have PMR,however cannot have treatment until my drugs for my seizures ect are stable.Oh my,it looks like I've wrote a composition!!..sorry!!..kindest regards to you all for helping me understand OUR ILLNESS PMR plusxx

Hi Routy, good to hear from you. My you've been through the mill!

It must be hard to figure out what is torturing you most. I'm glad your Neurologist was straight with you and treated you like a grown up.

I guess PMR has decided you've had enough and is putting you on long term rest. It will be great when you can have Pred to relieve the pains. We will all be here as you begin to climb out of this hole.

So glad the ordeal of the tumour operation is behind you. I can imagine how frightening, not to say traumatic this has all been. I hope that is an end to that one!

Look forward to hearing how you are getting on. Jane x

Welcome. I'm a newbie too and one of the first posts I read said something like 'you are not alone' comforting words and so true. There is so much advice and info here. Hope you get things sorted and get started on Pred soon.

You have had a lot of things of which any one would be bad. All the best for the next stages!

Ha! Don't worry about a composition, you should see some that are posted. I'm guilty of the odd War and Peace too that make yours look like a short shopping list. πŸ™‚
