BAGS UNDER EYES

Paisleyman, it sounds as though you might perhaps be experiencing some fluid retention - steroids can cause this, although you haven't said whether you are high or low doses at the moment. I know that certain kidney and heart problems can also sometimes cause such bags. However, with the "leaking" you describe, I think if it was me I would just get your eyes checked out by an ophthalmologist just to ensure there isn't some other problem such as a simple infection. Even a dry eye problem can lead to leaking and there are special drops for this.
Celtic, thank you for your reply. I have dropped from 30mg to 8mg over last 12 months. You are probably on the right track as I have dry eye condition, and am prescribed carbomer gel. It has eased quite a bit today, but will take your advice and see an ophthalmologist. Celtic, once again thank you for reply and hope 2017 is a good year for you and your family.
Just throwing something out there. I was having eye symptoms- progressively blurry vision, excessive watering, swollen lids, like something gritty in my eyes......my usual optometrist said it was not an eye problem, but a medical one i.e. I needed a dieuretic.....when that didn't help I went to a new optometrist who immediately diagnosed blepharitis ...treatment is twice daily cleaning and special drops 4 times a day....it's a chronic condition so isn't cured but managed.....two opthamologists also missed it as well. ....google it and see if it fits. Best wishes for a resolution.
Cheers
Thank you,will google it
This is a particularly good article about it
