A vanity question - I have had PMR for 3.5 yrs, and have worked down to 7mgs, via a period on 4 mgs, with a couple of recent flares.
I have noticed, despite not putting on any weight by being careful with carbs etc, that I have developed bags under my eyes which I did not have before.
Not serious ... but I wondered whether anyone has this experience and whether this improves after reducing/eliminating pred.
Thanks.

Yes is the short answer. Don't know if it improves with lower pred though. Sunglasses rule - you're fine in Malta, you shouldn't be out the door without them!
I definitely have them too. I started noticing them even before diagnosis, so maybe they're due to the condition rather than the Pred. Always there, no matter whether I sleep well or not. That's why I have sunglasses on in my profile pic 😎🤣
Couldn’t stand my flappy neck or baggy eyes inherited from my father. Plastic surgery, so eyes are too tight to bag. But the hair on my arms has reached ape/like volume and my limb skin tears like paper.
Oh the hair, it’s awful. Dry, frizzy, thinning. Will it improve? I’m on lower doses of pred and it’s still grim. Having said that a friend says hers has declined but put it down to age. I’m on other meds - blood thinners, beta blockers, statins. Maybe the full cocktail of drugs affects hair.
