If you are very sensitive to medications it can be - steroid withdrawal can result in what is called steroid withdrawal rheumatism. It should improve over the next few days but some people find it can last longer. We always have recommended clearing the decks and cancelling anything you can't get out of easily. But really - the week before Christmas isn't a good time to start a reduction!

Your so right....but I have to bully through, the side effects of prednisone is beating me down. The sincere feedback, knowledge on this website gives me strength. I plan 1 thing a day. If I get it done great...if not...so be it.

Appreciate you find side effects battering, but no point reducing too far and getting PMR symptoms back - worst if both worlds!
