Second day on new reduction

So I am starting a new reduction from 12.5 to 11.5. Yesterday was day two on the regular dose. (I do the slow plan) I have only done one day on the new dose and boy did I feel lousy the next day. Stiff ribcage, sore shoulders. So what do I do now? Go down .5 instead of 1? My body is protesting I think.

Hi,

You could try a 0.5mg reduction, but maybe it's just not a good time for your body. If it's protesting too much, why not give it another week, and then try again.

What's a week between friends.

I should have known better than to write my reduction schedule in ink on my calendar. PMR is always the boss.

When I was still taking warfarin my GP couldn't understand why I always used a pencil - she eventually got the idea!

It is still very close to Christmas and all that preceded it. Even though I feel that a great deal of it was done for me this year I know I am not back to normal. I am terribly tired with new and as usual alarming symptoms. Maybe you need to pause a bit until you are utterly bored with yourself, then surprise your body with a teeny tiny reduction. Tortoise and the hare. Happy New Year!
