It isn't one I would try - I feel it might be too much pressure leaving the muscles sore afterwards.

Ask if you could have Bowen therapy, accupressure, or one of the other gentler therapies instead. I always come away from my Bowen appointments feeling as if a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I know Eileen goes for Bowen treatment too.

I have regular massages and also go to an osteopath. I must admit my favourite one is just the leg and foot one as I have bad fluid retention. My osteopath has other clients with PMR and rheumatoid arthritis, she is fantastic. If you don't want a massage you can always have a facial or pedicure or such like of course.

I would ask for Bowen as well, got me walking without zimmer frame and walking stick.

Eileen nagged me and boy was I glad she did.

Reflexology (feet) is gentle others.

Hi from Canada: My doctor recommended massage therapy - not deep massage but gentle. I've had two sessions so far and I feel they are helping. Have a happy birthday and enjoy your massage.
