Bad news

Hi everyone, Treliske Hospital have just telephoned and cancelled my ablation on Wednesday. I am so upset about it but then if they have emergencies they obviously take priority. I understand it might be the end of March ish!

What a shame! It is so disappointing when that happens since you are all keyed up for it and it is such a let down. Maybe your operator (whatever sort they are) has flu or something - health service staff are very unhealthy! I keep telling my paramedic daughter she wouldn't be ill all the time if she avoided all those sick people...

Better luck next time - did you tell them you'll take a last minute cancellation? It means being ready to drop that cup of tea (and anything you had planned) and run but often gets you in sooner and uses up a space they otherwise wouldn't be able to fill.

Thank you, yes I did say I would take a cancellation. Never mind I am sure I will feel less disappointed soon.
