I haven't used them myself, mainly because I have none near me, but power plates are being given a good press. Not sure if that's the same as a toning table?

Not the same thing, Polka. I used to use toning tables to tone up my muscles, long before I had PMR. A relaxing way to tone up. I think power plates tone you up by shaking you up! Otherwise, there are clubs that use 'motorcise' machines which do similar things to toning tables, but can be used at different speeds and tensions according to what you can deal with at the time.

Not sure if I could manage a good shaking, Anno! When I was able to get to a gym, I found the light resistance weights were very helpful but not sure if I'd be up to it now. Keep hoping that we will get more facilities round here so that I could try again.
