Severe RLS Augmentation on Pramipexole
I was first prescribed
pergolide
which I took for 8/9 years until I discovered from my own reading that it was known to produce heart valve problems. My neurologist switched me to Pramipexole and have been taking it now for some 10 years.

Looking back
I am late 60's & have had RLS for as long as I can remember & started out on
Pergolide
as I was experiencing minor irritation in the autumn/winter months so treated them like I would for any headache - popped a pill when I needed it.

Hormonal Acne remedies
Hey, I was given a mirena coil which I am guessing quite a few other people with endometriosis have as well. Unfortunately it has given me hormonal acne and this has been diagnosed by my doctor, I have taken lymecycline since March now and wanted to stop taking it however a week after stopping taking

Madopar for RLS
I have had RLS since childhood and self diagnosed in 2000 when I was on
Pergolide
which was discontinued. They then put me into Madopar which was ineffective unless I combined it with Pramipexole 0.088.

Pergolide
I was taking
pergolide
for Restless Legs for about 15 years plus and it was effective. It was a joy after the misery of years of RLS.

Tiny bumps all over face
Hello, I desperately need help with my skin. I am 22 years old and struggling with active acne (pustules, whiteheads, blackheads), PIE as well as this textured skin that looks like tiny bumps all over my face. The bumps started in April 2018 when my menstrual cycle changed. I went to my gynecologist

Madopar - does anyone take it?
I was on
Pergolide
for 18 years. Wonderful. Cured my restless legs until they took it off the market. Now my neurosurgeon has given me Madopar which doesn’t touch the problem. Help!

Why have I never known of RLS-UK before now?
So
Pergolide
continues...The words Augmentation still never mentioned.
Pergolide
goes up to 750mcg. Then in October 2017 my life turned upside down.

Changing Medication
I know it's very early days but I've just been taken off
Pergolide
tablets as they are no longer available and o put on Pramipexole.
Pergolide
worked brilliantly for me but last night I got no sleep whatsoever and my legs have twitched throughout the day today.

What is Benzoyl Peroxide?
It is one of the most effective and most widely used drug in acne. It releases free-radical oxygen which destroys bacteria, in particular anaerobic and microaerophilic bacteria. Although the primary acting mechanism of benzoyl peroxide is its bactericidal action, it also has mild keratolytic and comedolytic

Hidradenitis Suppurativa
I am 63 and have suffered with HS since I was 17. I have outbreaks in the groin area. My dermatologist recommended 2 washes to use on a daily basis when showering. One is called 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, and the other is Hibiclens Antiseptic Antimicrobial Skin Liquid Soap. This has worked well for me.

Red Pigmentation Spots & Scarring
Hi all, I'm new here on 'MY SKIN' and i was just wondering if anyone can help.. I suffer from moderate acne which is localised to mainly my cheeks and chin. I'm not 100% certain but i think its caused by a hormone imbalance as i also suffer from irregular periods. My GP has given me a cream called DUAC
