Hi. I'm pretty sure they can only rule out pcs with the keyhole procedure, where they have a Good look around (sorry forgot what its called). I'm pretty sure I've got PCS and have been told that I need this procedure to find out. However they won't do it as I've got lupus.I've had the internal ultrasound, just to rule out it being anything else.

I would query this with a specialist.

Thanks for the message, I’m just confused about all the different diagnosis’s there are!!! My family are paying for a specialist who has experience in chronic pelvic pain, so let’s wait and see 🤞🏼

May I please ask what your symptoms are? Can you the describe the pain? Do certain body positions or activities make it worse? Thank you.

Hi, my symptoms are constant low down pain, feels like my insides are going to fall out when I pee!! Walking, sitting, lifting, pulling and low down cleaning all make the pain much much worse. I take Oxybutnin and Duluxetine and codeine, sometimes a bath helps or lying on my side. I’m putting a complaint in against the consultant who probed me yesterday ! She was heavy handed and hurt like hell! She had no empathy or signs of kindness! Once again I’m left disappointed with the experts 🥺

Hi — I have been diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome — and that was 3 years after a hysterectomy. It has to do with your iliac veins being compressed, and nothing to do with your uterus.

Just letting you know that I did have a procedure to try to help with this almost 2 years ago, and nothing changed with my pain levels. I do still have other issues. It could be different for you.

Hope this helps.
